Bring back the thermos
Monday, 16 February 2009
It seems world events are making us feel somewhat jittery and talk of the Great 1930s Depression doesn’t help. I wasn’t there at the time but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t that great. In fact, many had a pretty tough time of it, by all accounts.

Red light runner? Who? Me?!
Monday, 09 February 2009
Driving to work just before Christmas, I was nabbed going through an orange light at the Botany Rd/Te Irirangi Drive intersection. My version of events: the light had just turned orange and I couldn’t have stopped safely.

Barracking for Obama
Tuesday, 27 January 2009
This week’s column was going to be about clearing out the kitchen cupboards, but after witnessing the inspiring events on the television last week covering Barack Obama’s inauguration to the office of the President of the United States of America, writing about giving the kitchen a spruce up seemed extremely trite. Life in the Kiwi raw
Monday, 24 November 2008
We’re counting down – only 31 sleeps until Christmas! Then hopefully it’s holiday time for most of us, with quality down-time enjoyed either out of town or relaxing at home.

Knickers in a twist
Monday, 17 November 2008
It sure has been a long couple of months and I’m sorry to mention the election again, but I must say it seemed that many people agonised long and hard over which party to vote for.
